Mogadishu, February 10, 2024; The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, visited the Digfeer Hospital in Mogadishu where the UAE officials were injured in the horrific incident that took place at the General Gorod Barracks in Mogadishu this afternoonsent his condolences to the government and people of the United Arab Emirates."We have to have a rajicoon.The government and the people of the United Arab Emirates, we offer our condolences to the officers who lost their lives in the terrorist attack in Mogadishu, those officers who came to our country to participate in the reconstruction of the Somali Armed Forces.

The president strongly condemned this act that took the lives of these officers who dedicated their time to the Somali people and government, instructing the security agencies to conduct a large-scale and urgent investigation into the lack of security and the circumstances surrounding this incident.

"We are grateful to the government and the people of the United Arab Emirates for their continued support in the reconstruction and development of Somalia, and we will remember the role they played by our country in this difficult time.
